Strengths

In this week’s lesson I did the strength activity where I took a 240 question quiz that came up with some of my top strengths. I used these strengths in different ways than how I usually approach my life using these strengths. I learned that there is much more room to improve on your everyday life by basically doing your best strengths in different ways. My plan My top 3 strengths expressed myself in a way that I do see myself when I reflect on my life and think about how others look at my character and the way I hold myself up. My first strength was spirituality, sense of purpose, and faith. I do see myself with strong and coherent beliefs. #CounselorsHelp When I was in high school and it was my senior year I was having trouble on deciding what I wanted to do with my life. I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue playing baseball and be a college athlete or go somewhere and just be a regular student. So I went to my school counselor. She just sat there and listened and let me rant or just talk about how I felt and let me get it all out. After talking to her a couple of days in a row I realized I still wanted to play college baseball. I was amazed because the counselor didn't really say much she just sat there and listened.
To describe myself in one word it would be leadership. Growing up I have always taken the leadership role. Its not that I was looking to be a leader it just naturally came to me and people would look to me as a leader. As I grew up playing baseball I would be the leader of the teams I would play on. This would include my select baseball teams and then getting into high school be the leaders of that team as well. My senior year was one of the easier moments of me being a leader. I knew with everyone that just graduated I was gonna have to step up and be a leader. When I look back it these experiences I had helped define the man I am today.
